Baggallini wanted to build an online tool allowing people to compete by designing a bag from prepopulated selections and be entered into a sweepstakes to help build brand awareness. What Studio Spiral proposed was a multi-part digital marketing strategy with a micro-site and Pinterest contest with the purpose of increasing baggallini.com traffic and spike purchase intent. We started with a responsive site where consumers could engage with baggallini contests, videos and products in a flexible, adaptive environment for a robust experience across every device.
Pinterest has an 80% female audience so we launched baggallini-sweepstakes.com featuring two Pin & Win contests for increased shares within the Baggallini target market. The first contest "baggallini baggspiration" had pinners build boards and select inspirational images to design the perfect bag including trends, colors, fabrics, patterns, organization, shapes, hardware, gadgets, technology and more. The second contest "baggallini designabagg” had hundrends of entries where users pinned their own sketches, renderings and sewn examples to be entered for their very own one-of-a-kind baggallini bag grand prize. Since the website and contest launched baggallini has seen impressive growth and a rapidly growing user base within Pinterest and their other social channels.
